Need some ideas for paint colors in my living room...?
We're going for the nautical look in our living room. What color paint would look best with the old sail boats and lighthouses?
Choose a coastal color from blues to sea foam green if the color of your furniture and decor is more neutral, (beige/brown/gray) or sand dollar white is also popular in nautical themes, or opt for sandy beige to taupe or even a combination of colors.

By simply placing the right color and sized conch shells on a shelf space or toilet tank cover, one can bring a bit of the shore right to their home.
Coastal home decor is in no way limited to the bathroom. The living area and bedrooms can benefits greatly from a few ocean side touches. There are table lamps available with shells as accents along with statuettes and figurines that remind people of a summer day at the shore. Lighthouses factor in greatly in designing this type of look for a home.
Lighthouses can represent many different things, but a few of the most notable representations are guidance and safety, while also representing a scenic shore. Lighthouses can be found in various sizes as figurines, or an individual could find a painting and set it up as a backdrop. In fact, any painting of a beach scene will work as a good backdrop for a room.
