Where did that story about the woman whose ghost is waiting for her husband by the sea originate?
It's an old story, might be folklore. You've probably heard it, there have been many renditions in shows and games etc. It's basically a story about a woman's husband who went off(to war I think) who was a sailor and she promised to wait by the sea(might be a lighthouse) for him, but he died at sea and the woman kept going out everyday to wait for him, even when she died her ghost continued to wait. Closest I got to finding anything was a possible RL Stein book called Haunted Lighthouse. But it doesn't really follow the same storyline.
