How can lighthouses be built in the middle of the ocean??
I'am amazed at how people could build lighthouses in the middle of the ocean.how is it held up and where do they place things?Since it is underwater.
I am not sure there are Light houses in the middle of the ocean. Light Houses are used to navigate coastlines close to shore by the speed of the beak on rotation, and by the sound pattern of the foghorn. In the middle of the ocean there are no coastlines aside from those on Islands. What I have seen are weather buoys, large floating information gathering and transmitting platforms that float on the surface, tethered to the bottom by anchor and cable. These could easily be mistaken as Light Houses
