There are often misconceptions about people with disabilities. They are due to lack of knowledge of what people can do and what adaptive technology is available for persons with disabilities.
As having a disability, I can tell you first hand how you've played in a category. I was said I would not be able to do this and that. Technology opens a new world for me. Opportunities abound for me who had not been there before.
A recent conversation comes to mind. I spoke to a woman on the founding non-profit that I am co-founder. Our Foundation provides the technology for blind and disabled. We talked about using the computer. She said she thought that the visually impaired, especially the blind, do not use the computer, and therefore the Internet. I explained to adapt its technology available.
This is an example of how there are misconceptions about people with disabilities. We see in some of the adaptive technologies and functions that take today a better life.
A Braille reader is used as an input device on a personal computer. This direct contact is Braille embossed on paper insulated cable of thin metal that can connect to any other computers in large / small.
A (CCTV) system or CCTV uses a mounting bracket or handheld video camera that projects a magnified image on a video monitor, a television (TV) screen or a computer screen.
