Research has repeatedly shown that children succeed academically, socially and emotionally and become more well rounded and balanced individuals if their parents are involved in their education and school activities. Getting involved also sends the message to children that parents are really concerned in their education and go to school is good, noble cause.
But many parents donÂ't seem to want this because when arenÂ't participation in school activities of her children. It is often said that donÂ't have the time or energy or feel uncomfortable in schools their children. Other parents just seem to be confused about their options and how they can participate, or simply do not have the correct information.
So, how schools can involve parents in school activities?
Communication is essential. An important reason lack of parental involvement is the lack of clear, simple and useful. Schools and teachers should communicate with parents in person, by telephone, e-mail and websites, through letters and notes sent home through newsletters. Teachers need to talk to parents of a basic way without the addition of jargon "education" and ensure that parents have regular access to readable information about the school their activities Children's-both inside and outside the classroom.
Parents want to know what their Children learn what school activities are concerned, how parents can participate in particular the education of their children and activities school, how they can approach teachers and how they can help their children at home.

If schools want parents to attend school meetings, first of all could give an overview of what dates and times are most appropriate, provide care to children, brothers and younger sisters and a  "platform parental at the meeting where parents can talk, make suggestions and questions.
Be resourceful. Finally, schools must provide resources for parents who want to learn more and more involved in school activities of their children and education. Provide education courses for parents. Create a resource center for parents in the school information materials such as brochures, articles, reviews, advice, manuals, videos and CDs or cassettes. Develop a school site with a section for parents. Establish sessions or workshops at school on issues like single parenthood, helping with homework, improve skills and abilities, Review of child care, increase Adolescents, drugs and sexual knowledge, send a "surprise bags" house full of activities parents can do with their children.
The possibilities are endless, and if schools and teachers are truly committed to the cause of parental involvement in education and school activities, then they can get parents on board too.
