What are some things to do in Duluth, MN?
Its my fave place but ive been there so much that after I see the water, I dont know much else to do. Weve seen the ships, the museum, the tour of the ships, the zoo, the dinky casino, Dubhlins bar, walked around dowtown, the lighthouse, goosberry falls, rented the double bike,omni theater,and north shore dirve. My fiance and I go there every year for our anniversary and need some ideas. we are 25 and are up for anything. Thanks!
I've got a couple more ideas that you may be interested in...
-chartered fishing trip on Lake Superior
-rent personal kayaks for a day (neat areas with caves up the shore)
-white water rafting
-sailboat trip on LS
-Park Point beach
-Glensheen (some people find interesting, others don't, so look into it before actually going to see if it interests you)
-shopping at mall
-golfing
-hiking on one of the million trails around here
-aquarium (I really don't like it, I think it's boring, but visitors seem to like it)
-eat at a restaurant that has outdoor seating (Grandmas in Canal Park or Little Angies are a couple options), Top of the Harbor restaurant (on top of Radisson hotel, it spins for a full view of the city), Pickwick restaurant is a nice steak restaurant, Black Water is an upscale lounge with funky appetizers
-staying at The Edge (has indoor water park)
-North Shore train trip
-Black Bear Casino in Cloquet (it's quite large)
