Getaway for one in Maine near beaches and lighthouses?

Looking for a cheap getaway for one at a quaint place in Maine near beaches to walk along, lighthouses overlooking the shore, a coffee shop down the road, and a cozy balcony to read on; nice locals and good atmosphere too. Suggestions welcome! Thanks

Portland, or Cape Neddick. I'm a light house fiend. A few years ago, a friend and I just hopped into the car and headed out to the cape. We started in Plymouth, and ended up in Portland. We spent a good deal of time checking out the Lighthouses Of Maine. Portland Head is gorgeous, and there is a nice walking pathway you can take around the area, it is a big tourist attraction and it's more like a state park. Cape Neddick (Nubble Light) is in York, Maine. It's unaccessable- (on an island) but a gorgeous view. The town is very nice too, very quaint. In town, everything is in walking distance, and it's only a short drive over to the light house. I'm sure you could walk, but because we were only there for a few hours, we drove over. Getaways From Kolkatta

There are numerous getaways from Kolkatta city that include some of the inviting places, not far from the city boundaries. Kolkata town is bordered by some of the most excellent tourist destinations in the eastern India. Starting from the north and only barely 39 kms away is the destination called Chandannagar. Nabadwip, that is placed more north, approximately 114 kms from the town, is a very well-liked beach resort. ISKCON shrine across the river at Nabadwip is one of the recurrently visited sacred places in the area. 
 
Kolkata in the south is lined with beautiful places. Some well-known getaway towards the south of the city comprises of Diamond Harbour, Murshidabad ,Sunderbans and Digha. 

Diamond Harbour

Diamond harbour is a small town positioned at the spot where river Ganges takes a turn to south, just ahead of reaching the sea. The town as such is placed on the delta section of the city. Diamond City shapes one of the admired hang about for the Kolkata. Placed at a distance of nearly 49 kms from Kolkata, the region proves to be a nice getaway from the jam-packed urban cities.

Attractions
The complete region of Diamond Harbour has a perfect tourist destination for the Kolkatans. The town offers river cruises. The cruises are one of the most hunted tourist preferences in the region. Likewise significant are the pilgrim centre Sharisha Ramakrishna Mission Ashram and the remnants of a Portuguese Fort. The Fort is thought to have been the residence place of the bandits from the Portuguese. The destination also has a very old lighthouse that happens to be the local attraction

Sunderbans

Sunderbans make up a part of the biggest delta in the world. The three most important rivers of the Eastern part of India, Ganga, Brahmaputra and Meghna dawdle down towards the lower Gangetic Plains, creating the marshes of Sunderbans. The area is to be found at a distance of nearly 167 kms from the Kolkata town. Sunderbans is a celebrated place for a diversity of reasons. The area comprises of the biggest mangrove jungles in the world, the largest delta in the world and is the solitary place where the well-known undomesticated cat that is Royal Bengal Tiger, can be witnessed plunging in the water. The area houses one of the admired animal reserves of India, Sunderbans. The attractive territorial plains of Sunderbans is seen being crossed with small water bodies that offers habitation to some of the unusual birds. To experience the genuine feeling, the actual exciting activity, one has to amble his way through the marshes, estuaries, tigers, crocodiles and sometimes even sharks.
