a. The circumference of the circle.
b. The area of the circle.
4) A circle has a radius of 4.7 in. Find:
a. The circumference of the circle.
b. The area of the circle.
Area of circle= pi * radius^2
Circumference of circle= 2* pi * radius OR pi* diameter
Diameter= 2 * radius
1) 10^2 * pi
100 pi
2) 17^2 * pi
289 pi
3) Circumference= 2 * 8 * pi
Circumference= 16 pi
Area= 8^2 * pi
Area= 64 pi
4) circumference= 4.7*2*pi
circumference= 9.4 pi
Area= (4.7)^2 * pi
area= 22.09 pi
