I'm going to Key West next month and looking for suggestions on what to do while there.?
I've "done" Duval Street, The Little White House, the Lighthouse, Hemmingway house, Bahia Beach, and the Aquarium. Last trip we did Dry tortugas and a glass bottom boat.
I DO plan on doing the parachute thing and hitting hte beach (Fort Zach) but have I missed anything???
I actually have a condo for the week... I usually try to walk from the north end to the point and up to Mallory Square at least once every trip.
Fishing is an interesting idea, but I'd have to clean and cook it myself so that takes away some of the charm....
charter a boat for some fishing. i was in Key West about 15 years ago. we were on the Lucky Strike charter boat and caught some albacore and mahi-mahi. we kept only one mahi-mahi and took it back to the hotel. after signing a waiver, the chef cooked it up for us. it was one of the best fish meals i ever ate!
