what colors for condo?
we just recently bought a condo, and had to tear out the carpet and popcorn ceiling and are repainting and redoing the whole place.
what colors are best for a condo with a lot of windows coming in? it's not a real fancy condo, just generic...but it's very nice layout and we don't want to go too dark...
we need:
-bathroom colors (want to do a lighthouse theme)
-bedroom colors (the only one that would be ok dark)
-kitchen (wanna do a pastel-ish color)
-living room (something bold but not dark)
-lobby area when you first come in (an "invitational" color)

For the bathroom I recommend a light blue color for the walls and ivory for the ceiling. A single burgundy wall for the bedroom also with the remaining walls ivory in color and burgundy textiles for the window. You may want to consider a shade of taupe for the kitchen, if not, I would recommend almond color for one wall and if the cabinets are needing attention paint them cream in color and carry it out up to the ceiling by doing so will give you the feeling of taller cabinets a good feature for today's market. For the living room try purple or Tuscany (two walls only) opposite the window with a lighter in color throw rug for the purple or Burgundy and black for the Tuscany. And last but not least consider off-white or ivory two tone for your lobby by doing so will give your guest a comfortable feeling upon their arrival.
