Wedding dilemma HELP!!!?
I really don't know where to have my wedding. He's from Oregon, I'm from Virginia (can't get much farther away). If we have the wedding on the east coast, he will have pretty much no guests. If we have it on the west coast, I will have few guests.
There is a place on the west coast that is my favorite place in the universe called Heceta Head Lighthouse. http://www.hecetalighthouse.com/
If we have it there, I may not have many guests (or I'd have to pay them to fly out) but I'd at least have it at my dream place.
On the other hand I don't know if I can afford to fly people out for me and I may be stuck with only close family on my side.
Sigh. What to do.

Bottom Line: This is your wedding, and it should be everything you dreamed of.
You mentioned you may have to pay to fly people out. I just wanted to point out that although this was proper etiquette at one point, more and more it's not expected, especially with the state of today's economy.
Something to think about: What about having your dream wedding and then having a smaller reception or a small catered affair in your hometown? I've seen many couples do this to accomodate those who cannot travel for the wedding.
