Looking for best area to stay on the coast in Maine.?
we have 2 couples that will vacation in Maine next year and we can't choose the best areas. We like the beach, sand castle contest, lobster, private cottage, lighthouse boat tours, and maybe a trip to Nova Scotia by the CAT boat. Any great ideas truly appreciated.
I live in the Rockland area, and I don't know when you're planning to come, but during the first week in August we hold the Maine Lobster Festival, and it's really fun. Eat lobster, check out the breakwater lighthouse, and the owls head lighthouse, and it's easy to rent a private cottage on the water in this area. Hope this is helpful.

Kilauea is another township on the northern belt of Kauai which is quite well frequented by the tourists. Kilauea is most famous for its lighthouse.
