Lighthouses Wood patterns
does anyone know of where i can find a pattern to make a lighthouse out of wood?
im wanting to build a lighthouse out of wood, something around 4 to 5 foot tall. Anyone have any ideas where i can find one?
First, I have no interest in this site. I just saw it, and thought the plans were reasonably priced.

They have several. This one is about 5 feet tall, built from one sheet of plywood. It's a solar light, too.
Their plans are $9.95, and they have value packs with three or more plans also. A search on their site turns up many different styles.
There used to be a site that offered free directions on building out of sheet metal, but it's gone now.

Bringing The Beach To Your Kitchen
Being at the beach is an awesome treat. But what if you could create the same relaxed feelings the beach provides into your home? Many people have tried, but not everyone has really mastered the beach themed home, because it's easy to get off track; distracted by cheesy home décor items. Here we will look at some easy and affordable ways to make your kitchen a light and airy beach house room.
When you start with a solid plan, your kitchen makeover can go along smoothly and in just a few days you could have the beach kitchen of your dreams. To really take the look to the extreme may actually take you more time, if you want to find new furniture that exudes a beach vibe. However, this isn't completely necessary if you have furniture that you can make slight changes to with paint and fabric.
First, let's consider the kitchen cabinets that set a naturally beautiful tone. White kitchen cabinets are a favorite, especially if your kitchen does not receive a lot of natural light. The beach is a light and bright place, and white kitchen cabinets can mimic this for you. The good thing is that you don't have to refinance your house or sell your car to get beautiful white kitchen cabinets. With just a little bit of time and money invested, you can install your very own RTA kitchen cabinets to get your beach look started.
RTA kitchen cabinets are not a specific brand of cabinet. They are just ready to assemble; that's all. Before you get too involved in the process of buying the first RTA kitchen cabinets you come across, you want to make sure they are made with quality materials. Good cabinets that will hold up for years will NOT be made of particle board, let's just say that. Do some research and ask questions at your local home improvement store before deciding on which cabinets are right for your home.
Ok, what else can you do to bring in a beach feel at home? Think natural; natural colors, natural materials. If you have a light wood table already, this can go very well in a beach style kitchen. If however, you are using grandmas huge Oak table from decades ago, you may want to consider making a change. If you can't bear to paint over the wood you have, move that table into another room and find a kitchen table that is made of pine, or white.
If painting your existing kitchen table is something you are up for, you can consider painting it white, and painting some blue or light sand colored tones on the accompanying chairs to make the most of hues you would find at the beach. Chairs that have built in cushions can be changed up by changing the fabric that covers the cushions themselves. This is fast and simple to do with just a few tools. If your chairs are light colored, consider bringing in a greenish blue fabric, or light blue fabric for the cushions. In order to not go overboard, avoid adding fabrics that feature a beach pattern such as lighthouses or fish.
The final touches of a beach style kitchen come through accessories. Faux shells can be found at any craft store or online. As a table centerpiece, you could place a pillar candle onto an elegant cake platter. The height is ideal for the dinner table. Around the naturally colored candle, lay some faux sand and shells onto the platter and you've got the perfect focal point for that area.
