The Best/Worst Books From This List of Classics?
Basically I need to pick one of the following books as part of my summer reading for my 12th grade AP English course. Which one(s) do you recommend and which one(s) should I absolutely avoid? (im leaning towards Passage to India right now, but I'm not sure)

I would recommend:
Emma, David Copperfield, Vanity Fair, Anna Karenina, and Wuthering Heights.
Emma is an easy and fun read, David Copperfield is by Dickens so that would be an educational experience 
. Vanity Fair is hilarious, to say te least. Anna Karenina is long, but very well written. Russian literature is good, especially Tolstoy. Wuthering Heights is dark, but romantic, so if that is your style I would recommend it.
I would avoid any of the books by Virginia Woolf, William Faulkner, Herman Melville. Woolf and Faulkner often write stream of conciousness novels which can be difficult, and Melville is just plain boring.
