What do you think the reasons are that Muslims are leaving their religion in droves?
Ahmad al-Qataani, leader of the Companions Lighthouse for the Science of Islamic Law, was quoted in an al-Jazeera interview; "Everyday, 16,000 Muslims convert to Christianity. Every year, 6 million Muslims convert to Christianity".
The reasons must be very compelling because of the fact that apostasy is punishable by death in Afghanistan, Comoros, Iran, Mauritania, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Yemen. It is also illegal in Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, the Maldives, Oman, and Qatar.

"The Prophet (Muhammed) married her (Aisha) when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death)."

i believe the internet has a lot to do with it. what has been kept secret can now be googled and the truth can be seen in just seconds. very few muslims have read the quran or hadiths other than a few cherry picked abrogated verses. such as the sura no compulsion in religion that muslims love to quote with no knowledge it has been abrogated.
