What is the best outdoor wedding venue in Michigan during the fall season?
I want an outdoor wedding in the month of October (not this October, we're planning on a longer engagement). I've always thought the autumn foliage here is so romantic and I've had my heart set on this type of seasonal outdoor ceremony for awhile. I'm having some trouble finding venues that will provide this burning autumn backdrop for my ceremony. I'm just getting started and have some time, but as a recently engaged I'm excited to start imagining where my ceremony will be held. It's also very important that the place have a reception site indoors. My fiances grandparents are older and we cannot have the entire affair outdoors due to their health. If anyone has any suggestions, please, direct me to some options!
I've already been to "TheKnot.com" and I can't quite find what I'm looking for.
Not that it's necessary, but I would absolutely LOVE a lighthouse on the venue property for photos. They're an interest of mine and I'd be very excited if it were an option.
You should check into the Ludington area.
I guess it all depends on where in the state you would like to have it, and how early in October you would like to have it.
The further UP you go, the more brilliant the color there would be.
