chatting on omegle fears?
hey, my friend was on omegle last night and told me to try it so i did. at first it was funny and i was goofing around with people, but this one person started telling me about this movie that i knew and we got into a huge discussion about movies and life. now, i just told him my name, and some of my interests. nothing big. he asked to see my flickr and i (stupidly) sent it to him, thinking there was nothing on there. he saw a local lighthouse and asked if i lived there, i said that i was just visiting. our conversation died down and i soon left. but for some reason, i'm really flipped out. i mean, everything i told him you could just get by looking at my flickr and i didn't tell him much, but it's still weird.....i guess my question is, what can i do to feel more assured? anybody got anything comforting? 
While its creepy, its a good experience to have. You gave away very little to go on (finding one person in a town is like a needle in a haystack), but are prolly now going to be more cautious about giving info away in an anonymous setting. Once you set your own boundaries and are consistent with it, you probably won't get creeped out again. There are other sites like Omegle to try out that block users who get flagged by other users like GettingRandom.com
