The headlights are the property Coast Guard, but modern automatic headlights, the Coast Guard believes it is more profitable to build and maintain a navigation aid in a steel structure or buoy, instead of inside the lantern of a lighthouse traditional tower. Thus, in many places the traditional lighthouse tower was found that little value to the mission of the U.S. Coast Guard, with the exception of providing assistance visual sailors during the day and the weather.
