What part of Michigan would be a great place to go on a day trip on?
My boyfriend has never been to the Western side of Michigan (We're originally from Ann Arbor) and our anniversary is coming up. I want to surprise him with a day trip to the western side of the state but I don't really know where to go or what there would be to do since it is still winter. I thought maybe going to Lake Michigan or maybe visiting a lighthouse.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm willing to travel up to 3 hours from where we originally live.
