Physics HELP REALLY NEEDED!?

Dennis Joyce of the United States threw a boomerang and caugt it at the same location 3 minutes later. Suppose Joyce decided to work out while waiting for the boomerang to return. If Joyce expended a 54 kJ of work, what was his average power output during the work out?

And The world's tallest light house is in Japan and is 106 meters tall. If a winch is used to raise 14 kg of equipment to the lighthouse top at a constant speed of 3.00 m/s, calculate the power developed by the winch.

1) Power = work/time

54kJ = 54000

3 min = 180s

54000/180 = 300 J/s or 300 Watts

2) 106/3 = 53.3 seconds to reach the top (time)

Work = Force x Distance

Work = [(14kg x 9.8(acceleration of gravity)] x [106m]

Work = 14543.2J

Power = Work/time

Power = 14543.2J/53.3s

Power = 272.86 J/s
