Need to be able to find the shadow?
the light house is 117 meters tall.
the will be approx 0.6144 radians above the horizon at 4pm
The question is: How long would the shadow cast by the lighthouse at this time, were it still standing?
Can some on please tell me the way to go about working it out
tan (.6144) = 117 / x
x = length of the shadow....make sure your calculator is in radian mode
