This Little Light Lighthouses
this little light lighthouses
Opinions on this poem - Lighthouse? Title?
We are all just little people
Little people in a sea
But in this sea of little people
You mean the world to me
I was trapped amongst these many people
All these people in the sea
Treading water, drowning
As the waves crashed down on me
But then one day I met you
And swam in this sorry sea
You became the light, shining
On the darkest side of me
Shining, always shining
From your lighthouse atop the sea
But then one day your light went out
And no longer shone down on me
I became a shadow of a person
Drowning in a sorry sea
A sea of little people
Little people, just like me
I was a little girl
with a dark sea inside
i wore a bright dress
that covered the darkness inside
the dress was so good
seemed as if the light was from inside
when someone looked inside
they drowned in the dark sea
i feel so sorry
i won't wear a bright dress again:(....... (tears from my left eye rolling into the bright ocean somewhere, who knows where)
